Subject: WC settlement finally approved
Thought I'd share my good news with you all. My WC settlement from the
private mediation on Aug 3rd is FINALLY approved. It was approved on the
22nd and now WAUSAU has 15 days to send the check or face a 10% penalty.
Feels good to be finally over. I may still have to jump through some hoops
for the retraining but since I did a total washout the insurance company
will no longer be involved (i.e. no payment during retraining) now WC rehab
will be in control.
Now I can get back with the myotherapist. I'm amazed at my progress using
the Bonnie Prudden Myotherpy method. Though I only had 2 visits with the
therapist I have had so much improvement I can't believe it! I've continued
to work on myself as described in the book "Pain Erasure The Bonnie Prudden
Way" by Bonnie Prudden. I purchased the Theracane as suggested by a fellow
SOREHANDER though I already had a shepherds crook. The theracane is easier
to use then the simple crook and the video is excellent on positioning the
cane, well worth the money.
This is the progress that I have had since my first myotherpy session:
1. All pain from the TMJ is gone. No more headaches or jaw aches though
there are still a few trigger points in my mouth that are being stubborn but
I'm sure in time I will work them free.
2. My shoulders and neck no longer hurt constantly though I still notice
they are a bit tight still with occasional pain between my blades.
3. I still have some pain in my back and lats but with less intensity.
4. Numbness in my hands is slowing disappearing along with the neural
tension in my arms.
5. NO MORE trigger points in my bicep/triceps and very few trigger points
left in my arms...simply amazing.
There is more...but I have to go run errands. Needless to say, I'm glad
that in another week that DAMN WC insurance company will be OUT OF MY LIFE
FOREVER.
